Sunday Short Stories

Sunday Short StoriesSunday Short Stories is a weekly Random (because New Bebe) post that shares some of the best short stories out in the ‘verse.  So grab a coffee, settle deep into your favorite chair, and enjoy the escape.

I really like Uncanny Magazine, Fridays Poem was from them, and today’s short story is too. You can read Sun, Moon, Dust by Ursula Vernon OR listen to it during the Uncanny Podcast then listen to an interview with Ursula Vernon, which is pretty cool.

This one gave me a chill, mostly because I am a new mother and the…. wait,  no, you should just read Monster by Katherine Searle. It definitely delivers on everything short fiction should, with a sharp twang on the heartstrings.

After the somber tones of the above story go to Visit Pandora, just to cleanse your palate and be wowed by its shear awesomeness.

Happy Reading! ~ Trish
